Staff Spotlight: A closer look at the Heart and Hustle Team: Assistant Coach Gabby Parisi Rising senior, Gabby Parisi, is a formidable opponent in every sport she attempts. Though many lament the dwindling number of 3 sport athletes at the elite level, Gabby holds strong as a veteran cross country, basketball, and lacrosse player. Juggling varsity level commitments and rigorous academic coursework would be a daunting if not insurmountable challenge for most. Gabby, as expected, rises to the challenge with grace and ease earning both academic and athletic honors. Gabby’s ability to provide instruction on advanced technique to even our youngest campers is truly remarkable. Her patience and kindness make her a Heart and Hustle coach that all kids want to be around. We at the Heart and Hustle Team are eagerly awaiting Gabby’s senior year, likely one we will all remember, and wish her the best of luck! Staff Spotlight: A closer look at the Heart and Hustle Team: Assistant Coach Noelle DeMarinis Noelle is an exceptional athlete earning numerous awards in lacrosse and soccer. A highly sought after recruit out of Somers High School, Noelle will be attending Columbia in the fall where she is sure to shine on their Division I Women’s Lax team. Noelle volunteers countless hours with the Somers Youth Lacrosse Program. Though Noelle is a fierce competitor on the field she is gentle and warm presence at the Heart and Hustle Sports Camp. Noelle’s unparalleled work ethic is evident in the long list of achievements displayed below. We hope our young athletes use Noelle’s story of determination and effort as a model and inspiration for their future achievements. Staff Spotlight - A closer look at the Heart and Hustle Staff: Assistant Coach Patrick Eames Track standout, Patrick Eames, has left his mark on the Somers Varsity Track Team. Earning All League honors during his sophomore, junior, and senior year, Patrick manages to remain humble amidst the many accolades and awards. Patrick’s championship victory in the Pentathlon speaks to the versatile nature of his athleticism. Though Patrick’s athletic achievements are plenty, his patience and kindness when working with campers is truly noteworthy. Patrick’s ability to manage campers rivals that of a veteran educator. He will be heading to Ithaca College where he will be participating on their track team.
